piece of garbage game

Puntos Fuertes: graphics are ok, good quantity of match types, and thats about it!

Puntos Débiles: everything else, ESPECIALLY THE STORY MODE!!!!!

this game was a piece of garbage game. its a shame that they wasted their time on this!!! ok, the graphics are good, but the story mode is pathetic. After playing this game, i go back playing smackdown 2 and play it as much as i can. I hope they can make a good game.

smackdown

Puntos Fuertes: great graphics

Puntos Débiles: none

Smackdown : Just Bring It is one of the many wrestling games for the ps2. It is incredibly detailed in terms of its graphics and the wrestlers, who look a great deal like their real life counterparts. What I especially like is the "create a wrestler" feature , where you can make your favorite super star from other wrestling federations like ECW or WCW or AWA or any other matchups from both past and present, even the New Japan Wrestlers. This feature is incredibly detailed and allows you to tweak even the minutest details of the wrestlers you wish to create. The controls are also pretty good and allow you to lay the smackdown just like you see on tv. This title is pretty old by now and should thus be pretty cheap in price, so I highly recommend you pick it up and get ready to have a great time.

Crazy WWF antics on the PS2

Puntos Fuertes: Great graphics, quick gameplay, lots of characters and tons of personality

Puntos Débiles: Career mode doesn't always make sense, some wrestlers seem too similar in how they play

This is the first WWE game to grace the Playstation 2. As a first attempt it is an admirable one. If you've ever played any of the WWE games developed my Yukes and published by PS2 then you know what to expect.

Button and arrow combinations to do wrestling moves and build your meter to hit the finisher. Tons of match types from singles, tag, survivor, cage, rumble, tables, TLC and everyones favorite Hell in a Cell (yes, you can throw guys off the top). 36 different wrestlers including The Rock, Steve Austin, HHH and Chris Jericho.

The most interesting thing in the game is the career mode. In this mode you walk around the WWE in the first person and talk to wrestlers, start fights, find things, get interviewed and start feuds. The only minuses from this mode are that your backstage interactions are timed and you can't roam forever. Also sometimes feuds you start don't always make sense in terms of how they continue. There's not always ramifications to everything you do, unless you win the belt where everyone guns for you.

Other than that this is a prety servicable game, with lots and modes and options to explore. If you like wrestling you may want to give this a try.

Smackdown: Just Bring It!

Puntos Fuertes: Good Story Mode, 70 Match Types

Puntos Débiles: Not a big improvement from the PS1 version

Smackdown: Just Bring it is the 1st WWF (now WWE) Smackdown Wrestling game for the PS2. While not a drastic leap from the PS1 to the PS2, Just Bring It is still a worthy successor to its previous versions. An excellent story mode is now added where the story is played out depending on your actions. You also do not need to watch other bouts that you are not participating in. 70 match types are included in this version, and the ring entrances are nearly identical to their small screen counterparts. While the graphics may look the same as the PS1 with some edge clean-up, this game is a worthy purchase for wrestling fans looking to complete their wrestling collection.

Smackdown

Puntos Fuertes: Characters

Puntos Débiles: Gameplay

This isn't the best wrestling game out there. The characters in this one are of course awesome. It has many of the top Superstars in WWE. The gameplay to this isn't the best. I don't like the way it's set up, I feel like I have no control over the characters. Rent this one before you buy it.

WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It!

Puntos Fuertes: + Simple fun + Might actually enjoy the outdated lineup of wrestlers, if you don't like the WWE of recent

Puntos Débiles: - Weak graphics - The first WWF game on the PS2, so it's quite old now

This review is for the game WWF Smackdown: Just Bring It! for the Playstation 2. It's a fun game, and I recommend it if it can be found cheap (which it can). The outdated roster may be a plus to someone (depending on how you feel about the current situation of the WWE), and the game itself is still somewhat fun. Just don't expect anything great from this game (online play, tons of modes, etc.).
The graphics are pretty weak this many years after release (they actually weren't that great WHEN it was released either), and the features definitely pale in comparison to the latest in the series.
Final conclusion: Only pickup for a few bucks and if you're really bored. It's fun, but.. eh.

This game was one of the best in...

Puntos Fuertes: Good selection of older wrestlers.

Puntos Débiles: Doesn't compete with the newer WWE games.

This game was one of the best in its hay day. Now the newer wrestling games blow this one out of the water. It is still a good idea to pick this game up cheap for WWE fans. It does have some wrestlers that no longer wrestle in it as well as story lines that were taking place several years ago. In terms of features, graphics, and sound the newer Smackdown titles are better.

WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It!

Having been handed the WWF franchise, the good people at THQ have set out to create a wrestling title that takes advantage of the PS2’s capabilities and a game that sets itself apart from previous attempts seen on the PS1 console. It just turns out that the result--“SmackDown! Just Bring it!”--manages to accomplish both. Over thirty-six WWF wrestling superstars (including female stars) are...

WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It

Shut-in lifeless game/wrestling geeks, this is the title for y'all. You don't have a choice in the matter, of course, at least on PlayStation 2 , but for the time it took, WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It is a respectable effort from THQ and Yuke's. Like every other Smackdown before it, it's got great gaping swathes of room for improvement, and some of the additions made to the series' PS2 debut have...
