Well, I am on the phone with "customer care" for the upteenth time, after being stalled for getting my refund over and over and over, the maximum time stated for even any communication back to me on this issue is completely overdue, I am constantly told that I can not get in touch with the department that handles those issues, I also am not allowed to speak with a supervisor, so at this point I merely continue to call every 12 hours, based on other reviews I've seen written by other people for this exact same issue, as the point that I made finally when I insisted that i at that point just be issued a refund is that this is a defective product. The errors and bugs that were coming up with it not functioning on my PC were numerous and continuing on for a lengthy period of time, but I did everything that Bitdefender insisted would fix the issues, over and over and over again, taking up COUNTLESS HOURS OF MY OWN TIME, and i mean MANY over the entire time period, including searching their help page sometimes to see if I could fix it without more tickets / phone calls. Nothing, and it was laughable when they would come back a month later and say, try this - the thing I'd already tried numerous times from their help page - nothing. COUNTLESS reboots, "repairs" that never completed, uninstalls and installs, removal of programs from my PC, running and sending logs back, Windows still sees no antivirus software on my PC, BD is still calling itself inactive and needing to be registered although then it won't let me since it Is registered, the antivirus programs themselves aren't actually even running, and i could go on, but - . I think we all know that stuff happens, but when it becomes frustrating is if the "fix" drags on for weeks and months on end and never actually gets fixed, and then you just start getting the "we really will contact you soon about it," constantly, as more days go by. It's ridiculous, the product isn't working, and their idea of customer care is nil. Buyer beware.
