For this price range, I would highly recommend sonic toothbrushes such as Philip's Sonicare or OralB's Sonic Complete. They have more brushing power. The 9900 has good brushing power, comparable to others in its series. You seem to pay more only for gimmicks such as wireless smart guide and pressure sensors which in my opinion are useless. Got it just over a year ago and it started with problems about 4 months after I got it. The window fogs up. Then it loses charge quicker over time. Overall, I am very happy with the brush. I have been using this toothbrush for about a month and I can feel the change in my mouth. My teeth feel cleaner and look brighter. It's easy to charge, totally waterproof. The smart timer is useful and it's a great clock in your bathroom. I love using it and recommend it to every one.

My dentist suggested me to purchase an OralB toothbrush. So I ordered this one from amazon.com. It is my first electric toothbrush. I think an electric one should be useful. I chose the trimph 9900 because it has the smart timer. I could read the display easily. After several days of using it, it's hard to imagine going back to a manual toothbrush!
