Ordered an Aeron chair from Ultimate Back Store. I have not encountered such shoddy service in a very long time. The website assertion that instock items ship in one business day is completely untrue. It is now SIX calendar days (FIVE business) days since the order was placed and the item has NOT EVEN LEFT THE WAREHOUSE (confirmed by the shipper). The assertion that you will receive an email confirmation of your order is also completely untrue. I had to call to get the order number and a copy of the invoice. If you order anything from this merchant, be prepared to take it up with the corporate office of the manufacturer. I have documented all of this merchant's missteps and fully intend to inform all of my clients and friends to avoid this merchant entirely. Anything they sell can certainly be purchased elsewhere with a much better service experience. This will be my first and only time dealing with these people. |

We would not make another purchase here at ULTIMATEBACKSTORE.COM. Their customer service rep misunderstood "requested delivery date" as "requested ship-out date," but still they use the normal ground service to deliver. It was their fault and they admitted it was their falut, but they did not compensate for it, by using next day air or so for example. As a result, the ordered product were delivered a week after it was scheduled.... Too late. They should have been more sensitive about customers' needs. |

I've been ordering from this company for about a six months and never had any problems with them. The orders are always confirmed, quickly shipped and good customer service. Just recently I ordered an Aeron chair and it was slightly damaged. I called them, described the probelm and they shipped out the replacement part that day via Federal Express. They even had FedEx pick up the scratched part. Good service and great prices - I'll continue to use them. |

See below: * They conveniently forget to credit me back money for cancelled orders. It's been two weeks and I'm still waiting to get my money back. * They lie about ship dates. They tell you they'll ship the order "this week" when they in fact do not. * They charge your credit card weeks in advance without telling you an item is on backorder. * E-mail response takes 3 or more days. |

Chair arrived on time, but was damaged. Required (why?)digital pix of damage were sent but was told they couldn't address my issue because they "have more important fires to put out". Customer satisfaction is not at the top of their list. This is a simple exchange for damaged goods, so I dont understand their problem. The damage was due to the way they packaged the chair (their box). The back was scratched/gouged by the post on the seat. If you plan on buying from them, pray you dont need servic |
