FarmerBob - (August 24, 2006) This is the best piece of audio gear I have purchased in a long time. It doesn't look like much, but does it perform. For years I have dreamed of archiving and having my vinyl on CD or as digital files. My good tables are long gone and my beaters are dead. This setup makes it so very easy. I have only used the USB connection, but it also has RCA with an onboard preamp with line switching and gain. This will make it easy to hook up to just about any system. It also has a stereo mini jack on the front to feed in a tape player or the like. This only works if hooked up via USB. The provided software, Audacity (Freeware) is OK (I got V1.2.5, the manual is for 1.2.4, and 1.3 is on its way), a

pughimag - (March 10, 2006) I purchased this piano because I wanted a relatively lightweight, portable, 88-weighted-keys instrument to take to personal gigs with the guys. I have a 7ft-6in Kawai concert grand and a Korg 88-key weighted electronic piano at home but the Korg (Concert 5000?) is now about 20 years old and although it still works just fine it is very heavy. I looked at the Casio PX110 in the same price range and the Casio sounds were inferior to my ear even though I was tempted because it has 8 watt speakers and more features like a notepad sequencer. The PX110 is also $200 cheaper than the Yamaha P70. Other boards were twice the price. In the end I could not bring myself to compromise on the touch and

Bargugl - (February 07, 2006) If you are looking for an inexpensive practice piano or a very lightweight portable stage piano, this is an excellent buy. You simply can not buy a fully weighted 88-key keyboard for less than this. You will not find a better action or sound for less than $1000. This piano is the replacement for the Casio PX-100 and its main improvements are an improved action and an improved piano sound. The action is heavier than the old PX-100. It is also a heavier action than the Korg Triton or an old Roland I play at church. In my opinion, the action was more realistic than either the Roland or the old PX-100. Compared to the Korg, it is a toss-up as it is a matter of personal taste on what type of f
Reggmail - (13/11/09) Korg not supporting Vista 64/windows 7 is the downside of this mixer. Although the XY pad is a plus, no settings storage is also not good. This mixer is a nice desing that Korg slept on. I hope they get on the ball with the Zero 4 /8 mixers.

gyrod1 - (04/11/09) when box was received with torn portion, i was concerned about whether its contents were ok. Once box opened and parts put together, there was nothing missing, so that was a relief. ( this was a gift for my sons birthday) Overall, I am pleased with the product, price & service that pricegrabber provided.

raclark - (30/09/09) Two channel, independent volume, no master. Three EH 12ax7, Two JJ 6L6GC's. Effects loop jacks are on the control panel. Class A - A/B texture control on the back panel. Footswitch switches channels and turns boost on/off. Pretty straight forward. Simple is good. The first thing that struck me about this amp is the clean channel. Think shimmering Fender, no, think solid state Peavey. It's that clean. Slap-back echo comes back clean and true. Country pickers are gonna lose sleep playing through this amp. It dials right in and loves effects. I put a Boss CS-3 compressor in front and the Carvin FX2 in the effects loop. Go subtle with the effects and you can get impressively close to Brad Paisley's Train Wreck tone. Pushing the back end (6L6GC power section) gives tube compession with very little breakup. Use a Tele and think Sweet Home - Skynyrd. The dirty channel is characterized by the 12ax7's. This is in no way Marshall EL34 tone. It's gritty and decidedly American tone. It will do American scoop through a 4x12 cabinet, but not through the stock speaker. I'm not knocking the stock speaker. It does everthing I want it to, but if you're gonna play George Lynch, use a 4x12. Again, go subtle with the gain on this amp. It's got gain from here to Christmas, but the sweet spot is lower gain to my ear. Like most Marshalls, this amp has a bridge circuit to provide compression to front end overdrive. Suited well for high gain metal. Stage volume is not a problem for this amp. 50 watts is plenty. Drop a SM57 in front of it if you need more to the house. I got this amp new last month. I can't speak for it's reliability, but I have two other Peavey amps that I rely on and they haven't let me down. Peavey has always treated me well. Customer service is better than the other two American electric guitar makers by far.
