I recently downsized to move to Manhattan, which meant getting a small kitchen with no dishwasher. After months of sink washing, I broke down and bought this (Actually, a house guest felt sorry for me, and got it for me after I mentioned I was about to buy it). This is a really nice product.It offers two wash cycles, a rinse-and-hold option, and optional drying. A beep signals the end of both washing and drying.You can easily move it from place to place if necessary, I weigh b/w 100 - 115 lbs and can lift the dishwasher with no problem.

finalatom - (June 11, 2004) I give this product a bad rating. I have owned this beer dispenser for 11 months. In that time I have had 4 service calls all for the same problem, inability to control the temperature. At first when I got it I could not get the temperature to go below 47 degrees F. A service call was made and the thermostat and the thermocouple were replaced. It worked for about 5 weeks, and then the temperature went back to 47 and stayed there. Another service call and the same solution with the same results. It works for several weeks, and then the temperature starts drifting up. In December yet another service call for the same problem. Rob22315 - (15/03/10) Yes, these dishwashers have a couple of big issues. If you're thinking about buying one or inheriting one, DON'T. If you already have one, here are a couple of tips - First, take the cover off the front door and check the wiring. You will probably find most of the wires have become embedded in the sound isolation coating on the door (the thick black stuff). You will also find a couple of wires towards the bottom of the door are breaking if they haven't broken already. My advice is to pull the wires out of the coating, repair any broken wire or any wires with cracked insulation, and cover the coating with metal tape or duct tape to prevent the wiring from sticking again. Yes the metal tape could short out the wires if they break through again but the metal tape holds up better than duct tape in the long run. Second, a new pump motor costs $76 on the internest before shipping and can be changed out in about 20 minutes. If your motor goes, usually indicated by a loud grinding or squealing sound, get yourself a new pump motor and replace it yourself. Make sure to turn off the power at the breaker. Also, the screw on the impeller is reverse threaded. You'll have to partly disassemble the sump in the bottom of the unit to get access to the impeller and blade but it's just a couple of screws. The motor can be accessed from the bottom of the washer so just lay it on its side to get access. Make sure you look under the middle plastic piece in the sump to make sure the chopping blade gets reinstalled on the shaft of the motor. Finally, the low flow design gets clogged after about a year. Run some dishwasher cleaner through the unit 4 or 5 times a year.

ZephyrDud - (09/03/10) I purchased a Zephyr Typhoon AK2136 hood on 10/15/07 and had it installed shortly thereafter. After ~2.5 years the electronic board failed costing almost $200 to repair even after the part was covered under warranty. I was under the impression that this range hood was of higher quality, apparently not. Figure in the maintenance cost when making your purchase decision.
